Dara has been a lifeguard and swim instructor for the last 17 years. She started her career during high school at the Port McNeill Swimming Pool. She then moved on to the Nanaimo Aquatic Center & Beban Pool- while in College. She has been a lifeguard at the Radium Hot Springs Pools, and Fairmont Hot Springs Pools.  

Dara enjoy's spending time with her husband and 3.5 year old twin girls, when she isn't in the water teaching swimming or teaching first aid courses.

Erika and her family have a second home in the Fairmont area and have spent the last four summers enjoying all Fairmont has to offer. Since taking her Bronze Medallion & Cross with Dara's Dolphins in 2009, she has wanted to work in the area. She will be joining our team as an instructor this summer and will fill in when needed.

Katelyn also lives in Calgary, and vacations out in the valley. She started her training over the last couple of years and taught for us during the 2010, 2011 summers. Katelyn was well-liked and enjoyed her summer with us, that she applied for a lifeguarding position at Fairmont which she got and will be back this summer to teach for us again.

Becca has achieved her swimming awards within the last year and has been excited to lifeguard and teach. She taught for us last year and did an excellent job. Becca brought to the team an energetic attitude with the willingness to learn. She is excited to expand her certificates and knowledge within the swimming and first aid industry. She finished her Grade 12 at David Thompson Secondary. Becca taught for us in 2010.
